For Every Parent Who Gave Their All… and Is Just Getting Started.
There’s a moment coming.
June 30th.
We’ve circled it on the calendar.

That’s the day our youngest daughter, Bella, reports to the United States Coast Guard Academy. And just like that, the house that once echoed with kids, car keys, and chaos… will fall quiet.

It’s not a sad moment. But it is a big one.

For the first time in decades, we’ll wake up and realize, we’re officially empty nesters.

So, we started our newsletter and blog.

Not to fill the silence, but to honor it.
Not because we’re done parenting, but because this is the next season of it.
And honestly? We’re figuring it out as we go.

This space—TheTwoEmptyNesters.com—is for us. And maybe, it’s for you too.
For every mom and dad who’s sent their kid off to college, or the military, or life… and felt that ache mixed with pride.

We’ll share the milestones, like Bella committing to serve her country.
We’ll share the lessons we’ve learned—and the ones we’re still learning.
We’ll talk about marriage, health, faith, freedom, and what the heck to cook for two people instead of three.

This is not the end of our story as parents. It’s just a new chapter.

Bella’s off to become a leader.
We’re staying here to become a different kind of team.

June 30th is coming.
We’re ready.
Well, as ready as anyone can be.

Thanks for being here.
